Apricot and Almond Babka

March 9, 2015

Apricot and Almond Babka When it comes to sweet yeast breads, some would argue, “You can’t beat a babka.” What’s not to love about this decadent treat, characteristic for its crisp crust, gooey interior and high filling-to-dough ratio? Simply put, it takes the cake….

Cauliflower Purée

March 5, 2015

Cauliflower Purée Call me crazy, but I don’t really like mashed potatoes – even when they’re loaded with butter, cheese and bacon, or doused with homemade gravy. It’s sweet, tangy and, with just a splash of heavy cream added, really good for you!…

Baked Farro with Broccolini and White Beans

February 21, 2015

Baked Farro with Broccolini and White Beans I will happily eat the same thing for days on end. In fact, that’s exactly what I did this past week. And it’s all because I made a party-size portion of baked farro with broccolini and white beans on Monday for two….
